New for 2023 at Dippy’s Theatre
Dippy’s Theatre has become a hive of activity as the creative team at ROARR! prepare for the show’s premiere. The lighting, sound, and animation have been fine tuned, so the only thing left is for a ROARR-some audience to fill the 228-seat auditorium!
Top tip: Arrive early and pick up some refreshments in the foyer before finding the best seats in the house!
Dippy and the Icky Sticky Bog
Dippy and the Icky Sticky Bog will see Dippy, Terry, Paris, and Raz prepare for the Dino Dance-off. But on their way, they must work as a team to become unstuck from the stickiest of situations!
Dinos in the Dark
Visit the UK’s largest dinosaur-themed adventure Park from 6pm – 10pm on Saturday 5th August and discover some wild dino nightlife at ROARR!
Are you brave enough to explore Valley of the Dinosaurs once the sun’s gone down, take on Predator High Ropes in Discovery Land after dark, or handle creepy crawlies at our Animal Encounters in the Secret Animal Garden? …then listen up dinosaur explorers, there will be twilight tours with the Dino Hunter and Dame Dotty, and special meet and greets with our well-loved dinosaur characters, including Dippy, Paris, Terry and Raz.
Get ready for a ROARR-some summer night and indulge in mouth-watering delights from incredible street food businesses, from Bucket List loaded fries to Swash Nosh finger-licking BBQ delights and when you need an energy boost, head to Project D who will be creating dinosaur-themed doughnuts.
With plenty of stalls to interact with such as Norwich Astronomy and Twinkle SEN, while The Big Summer Blowout Band will bring the party vibes with live music.

Brand new dinosaur-themed rides have launched!
Get ready for the adventure of your lifetime, with not one, but TWO brand-new rides opening at ROARR! on Saturday 22nd July 2023. As well as over 25 dinosaur-themed attractions in both indoor and outdoor play settings, we welcome Swing-O-Saurus, a new swing ride, and Raptor Contraptor, a new flyer ride.
Located at the bottom of the Park, the new rides will sit within Discovery Land, which visitors can reach by crossing Dippy’s Land and following the AR trail through the Valley of the Dinosaurs.
Swing-O-Saurus
Travel back in time on the Swing-O-Saurus, a twist on the traditional Victorian swing boat ride. The ride seats 12 passengers at a time back-to-back and moves back and forth at a gentle pace that’s perfect for younger visitors. Explorers must be a minimum of 90cm tall.

Raptor Contraptor
Raptor Contraptor is a carousel ride of seats in 8 pairs giving passengers the thrill of flying like a pterodactyl: thanks to the interactive experience, riders are in full control as they swoop and fly their way through the sky. The minimum height for riders is 90cm.
