ROARR!, the UK’s number one dinosaur-themed adventure park, is thrilled to announce that its Park Director, Ben Francis, has been named a finalist in the prestigious VisitEngland Tourism Superstar 2025 competition.
This national competition, now in its 13th year, highlights outstanding individuals who go above and beyond to deliver exceptional experiences in England’s tourism sector. Ben was selected from a wide range of nominees due to his dedication to creating memorable experiences for visitors at ROARR! and his tireless work to enhance the park’s reputation as a top family destination.
Ben’s journey at ROARR! began as a scare actor for PrimEvil, where his creativity and leadership quickly shone. He joined full-time in 2017 as Events Manager, enhancing guest experiences and collaborations. In 2021, Ben became Park Manager, driving key improvements in accessibility, sustainability, and reducing the park’s environmental footprint and in 2025 he was appointed Park Director. A talented performer, Ben produces shows, wrote the park’s first book, and mentors’ new actors, while also being a key figure in his local theatre group in Fakenham, where he acts and directs. His passion for ROARR! and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences have made him an invaluable asset to the park.
“I’m thrilled to be nominated for this award,” said Ben Francis. “I love ROARR! and am dedicated to delivering the best experience for our guests. It’s an honour to be part of such a passionate team, and I’m beyond excited to represent ROARR! as Norfolk’s top attraction in this competition.”
The Tourism Superstar title will be determined by a public vote, which opens on VisitEngland’s website in February 2025. Supporters can view short films of all finalists in action and vote for their favourite. The winner will be announced at the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence event in spring.
ROARR! is thrilled by Ben’s recognition and encourages visitors to vote and show their support. This achievement highlights Ben’s hard work and dedication, helping make the park a beloved destination for families across the UK.
