Already the #1 dinosaur-themed adventure park in the UK, ROARR! is about to get even bigger and better. Taking the fun to a whole new level, we plan to open a brand new four-acre interactive play-themed area based on the internationally renowned Netflix, Tiny Pop and Disney+ hit series, Gigantosaurus.

Gigantosaurus Land has been designed to actively encourage exciting new exploratory and sensory family play. Get to grips with epic new interactive concepts that feature many fan favourites from the show including Rocky, Bill, Mazu and Tiny. Marvel at the vertical volcano themed drop ride, the spinning flower teacups, refreshing water play, jumping pillow, and a towering wooden play ‘n’ climb den. For younger explorers, a smaller play area will also be created where kids can whiz down a slide made of Giganto’s very own scales. How cool is that?

Inspired by the brilliant visuals and colourful designs featured within the TV programme and its stunning natural savannah setting, Gigantosaurus Land will be surrounded by a vibrant vista of grasses, trees, and instantly recognisable flowers from the ever-popular TV series.

Sensory family play – explore the water play garden, climb Mazu’s towering play ‘n’ climb den, or seek out the bouncing pillow and put a spring in your day.

WHAT IS THE SIZE OF THE ROARR! EXISTING SITE?

85 Acres.

HOW WILL THE INCREASE IN VISITORS BE MANAGED?

Following very successful online ticketing that the Park has been operating during the Covid-19 restrictions, the demand for Park entry will be controlled by set limits of pre-purchased day tickets, pricing and designated arrival times.

WHAT ARE THE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES?

The extension to ROARR! will provide a significant increase in the employment opportunities during both the construction and operation of the facility. It will also support the existing 120 employees as well as further support North Norfolk’s visitor economy.

WILL ROARR! BE INCREASING IN SIZE, FOLLOWING A SUCCESSFUL PLANNING PROPOSAL?

No, the extension applied for will be within the existing boundaries of ROARR! and will not increase. The planning submission is asking for existing open space to be converted into built development and landscaping.

WHAT IS THE PROJECTED INCREASE IN THE NUMBER OF VISITORS?

It is anticipated that if the extension to ROARR! is successful, the number of visitors to the park could potentially increase from the existing 300,000 per annum to a maximum of 500,000 per annum over a period of time.

WILL THE OPENING HOURS CHANGE?

The opening hours of ROARR! will remain the same. However, the new extension to the park may only be open between April to October.

WHERE WILL THE VISTORS ACCESS THE NEW EXTENSION TO ROARR!?

Two potential routes are being considered, both inside the park. One is from the existing Valley of the Dinosaurs and the other via the access road to the Predator High Ropes attraction. Neither of these access routes requires any additional road infrastructure. The main entrance to the park will be remain the same.
