Tickets, Prices & Booking FAQs

  • Is it cheaper to buy online?

Yes. Online tickets are our best-value option and guarantee your entry on your chosen date. Gate prices are higher and availability isn’t guaranteed on busy days. Always book in advance at tickets.roarr.co.uk.

  • Is there a booking fee?

There is a small online transaction fee of £1–£1.50 per booking. The exact amount varies by season and is shown at checkout. Even with the fee, online is almost always cheaper than buying on the gate.

  • How does admission pricing work?

Pricing is height-based rather than age-based. Children under 90 cm are just £2. The best prices are available when booking online at least a day in advance: the closer to the day (or on the gate), the higher the price.

  • What’s included in admission?

Your ticket covers all attractions at no extra charge: Splash Zone, Indoor Adventure Play, High Ropes, Raptor Contraptor, Swing-O-Saurus, Valley of the Dinosaurs, Raceway, and the Theatre. There are no hidden ride extras once you’re through the gates.

  • Are there concessions or discounts?

Reduced prices are available for seniors aged 65 and over, registered disabled visitors, and members of certain partner attractions. Children under 90 cm pay just £2. Essential companions attend free: see our Accessibility page for details.

  • Can I change my date or get a refund?

Date changes can be made via Guest Services up to 48 hours before your visit. Tickets are non-refundable. If the weather turns, our Rainy Day Guarantee gives you a free return visit: a weather transfer can also be arranged for a £2 admin fee. Contact Guest Services on 01603 876310 or guestservices@roarr.co.uk.

  • Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes! ROARR! gift vouchers make a great present for dinosaur-mad families. Buy them online at tickets.roarr.co.uk or in person at Guest Services. They can be used against day tickets, Annual Passes, or on-site purchases at the ROARR! STORE.

  • What’s the difference between peak and off-peak?

Peak days are our busiest dates: weekends, school holidays and events. Off-peak covers quieter days at a lower price. The calendar on our ticketing site shows your price before you pay, so you can pick the best value date for your family.

  • Can I gift an Annual Pass?

Yes. Annual Passes can be bought as a gift, so you can give a whole year of ROARR! adventures instead of a single day out. Ask at Guest Services or buy via tickets.roarr.co.uk.

  • What’s the Annual Pass, and can I upgrade a day ticket?

An Annual Pass gives unlimited visits for 12 months from first use. You can upgrade your day ticket to a pass on the day by contacting Guest Services: the price you paid will be deducted. See the Annual Pass page for current pricing and tiers.

Getting Here & Planning FAQs

  • How far is ROARR from Norwich?

ROARR! is about 25 minutes drive from Norwich city centre, in Lenwade, Norfolk.

  • How do I get to ROARR!?

We’re near Lenwade, between Norwich and Fakenham, accessible via the A47 and A1067. Postcode: NR9 5JE. Please note the B1535 is not safe for pedestrians: we recommend arriving by car, taxi, or bicycle. Full directions and public transport options.

  • Is there parking?

Yes. We have a large on-site car park with accessible spaces close to the main entrance. Parking is included with your admission.

  • Is there a dress code?

Family-appropriate attire throughout the park. Specific attractions have clothing and footwear requirements: see the “What should we bring?” section above for the full list.

  • What time do attractions open and close?

Opening times vary by season and can change for special events. Check our What’s Open and When page for the latest times before you travel.

  • How long should we allow for a visit?

Plan for a full day: most families spend 4 to 6 hours exploring 85 acres of indoor and outdoor attractions, live shows, food stops, and character encounters. There’s always more to discover than you expect!

  • Can we walk from the nearest bus stop?

We don’t recommend it. The B1535 between the Fakenham Road bus stop and the park entrance has no footpath, carries traffic, and the distance makes it impractical, especially with young children. Car, taxi or bicycle are the sensible ways to complete the journey.

  • Can we arrange a taxi to the park?

Yes. Local firms we recommend include Enterprise on 01603 86 87 88 and Gold Star on 01603 700700.

  • What should we bring?

A few things to make the day smoother:

    • Socks for Indoor Adventure Play
    • Long sleeves & knee-length shorts for the slides
    • Swimwear & a towel for Splash Zone
    • Enclosed trainers for High Ropes
    • Secure, fastened footwear for Raptor Contraptor and Swing-O-Saurus

On the Day & At the Park FAQs

  • What food and drink is available?

There are numerous food and drink outlets across the park serving hot meals, snacks, ice cream, and drinks. See our Food & Drink page for what’s available and where to find it.

  • Can we bring a picnic?

Absolutely! Picnics are very welcome. Bring your own food and enjoy it in our picnic areas, including Dippy’s Indoor Picnic Area and the Cretaceous Cavern undercover space: great options if the weather turns.

  • Can you cater for dietary requirements?

Our Food & Beverage team are happy to help with dietary needs. Speak to them on arrival, or get in touch ahead of your visit by emailing guestservices@roarr.co.uk.

  • Where are the toilets and baby changing facilities?

Toilets are located around the park: check the park map for your nearest. We also have a fully equipped Changing Places facility near Indoor Adventure Play, with a hoist and height-adjustable bench.

  • Are there lockers?

Lockers are available in Indoor Adventure Play for a £1 refundable deposit. They’re handy for keeping bags safe while the kids play.

  • Is there WiFi in the park?

Guest WiFi is available across most of the park: look for the ROARR! network. Download the ROARR! app before you arrive for offline maps and offers.

  • Can I smoke or vape?

Due to the heatwave and the increase risk of a fire we have temporarily made the decision to restrict smoking and vaping to one designated area. Please speak to a member of staff who can direct you to the designated area.

  • Is there first aid on site?

Yes. We have lots of first aiders throughout the park. Just ask any crew member and they’ll get you the right help quickly. In a serious emergency, call 999 and then alert a crew member.

  • What happens if my child gets lost?

We have a well-rehearsed lost-child procedure. Alert any crew member immediately and they’ll activate it straight away. Guest Services is the central coordination point: you’ll be reunited as quickly as possible.

  • Can we bring bikes or scooters?

For everyone’s safety, personal bikes and scooters are not permitted inside the park. Pushchairs and parent-controlled handle bikes are absolutely fine.

  • Where can we get hot food?

Dippy’s Pizza & Fries at the top of the park serves pizza and loaded fries every park day, with hot food also available at the front of Dinomite. At the bottom of the park, Nautilus fries fresh fish & chips and the Best Kids Cafe Ever opens through the summer holidays. See our Food & Drink page for the full line-up.

  • Where’s the quickest coffee or snack stop?

Raz’s Coffee Stop at the Snack Shack and the Dinomite Café both serve freshly ground coffee at the top of the park. Down at the bottom, the Tuck Shop covers cold drinks and snacks on peak days.

  • Where do we go for something sweet?

Paris’ Doughnuts at the Snack Shack, the Ice Cream Parlour next to Dippy’s Pizza & Fries (seasonal and weather-dependent), or the Tuck Shop’s confectionery at the bottom of the park.

  • Which food outlets are open on the day I visit?

It varies by day type: peak days run the full line-up, while off-peak and Toddler Thursday days run a reduced selection. Check What’s Open for the live picture before you travel.

Accessibility & Support FAQs

Manual wheelchairs, mobility scooters and strollers are subject to availability. Call Guest Services on 01603 876310 before you visit if hire kit is important to your day.

  • What is the best route to the lower park?

Use Valley of the Dinosaurs for the lower-gradient route. ROARR! is partly on a hillside, so unaccompanied wheelchair users may need assistance in the lower park.

  • Can the park be made a little quieter?

Yes. Ear defenders are available for a refundable deposit, and the team can help if the music or dinosaurs need to be quieter during your visit.

  • Where are the changing facilities?

Baby changing is available inside Dinomite Indoor Adventure Play and next to Explorers. There is also a large accessible Changing Places facility; ask a crew member for directions.

  • What hidden disability support is available?

A Quiet Room is available, ear defenders can be hired for a refundable deposit, and the team recognises Sunflower Lanyards and blue ASD wristbands.

  • Where can I check the detailed guides?

Use the AccessAble guide, accessibility chart and assistance dog guide linked above. For anything specific, contact Guest Services on 01603 876310.

  • Are carers free?

Yes. Essential companions supporting a disabled visitor attend free. Please bring evidence of eligibility (such as a DLA, PIP, or EHCP letter) on the day. If you have questions before you book, contact Guest Services on 01603 876310.

  • Are any of the rides wheelchair-accessible?

Yes. Raptor Contraptor has a specially designed wheel-on unit with hand pedals, and Swing-O-Saurus has accessible seats, attachable leg/foot supports and transfer steps. Full details are in the Accessibility Chart.

Rules, Dogs & Safety FAQs

  • Do you allow dogs?

Registered assistance dogs are welcome all year: they must be harnessed and clearly identified. During the summer season (18 July – 2 September 2026), well-behaved dogs on short leads are also permitted for a £3 per day fee: please pre-book via Guest Services. Water bowls are available outside food outlets.

  • Can adults visit without children?

ROARR! is a family park: unaccompanied adults without children are not permitted to enter. This policy exists to maintain a safe and family-friendly environment for all our guests.

  • Can children visit without an adult?

No. Under-18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the visit. Children under 16 must remain with their adult at all times. This is a safeguarding requirement.

  • Do you have a weather policy?

ROARR! is open whatever the weather and we don’t close for rain. Between May and September our Rainy Day Guarantee applies: if it rains for 2 or more hours during your visit, you get a free return within 4 weeks. A weather transfer can also be arranged for a £2 admin fee. Contact Guest Services for both options.

  • Do you have a safeguarding policy?

The welfare of all guests is our highest priority. We work in partnership with SAFEcic as part of our safeguarding commitment and hold full public liability insurance. If you have any welfare concerns during your visit, please speak to a crew member or Guest Services immediately. If you require a copy of our safeguarding policy, please contact Guest Services.

Group rates start at 12 people. For SEN schools the minimum is 6. Smaller than that? Standard tickets booked online are still the best price.

Yes. There are indoor and outdoor picnic areas across the park. On-site cafés and kiosks are available too if your group would rather buy food on the day.

  • Do you provide risk assessments for school visits?

Get in touch via our groups enquiry form and we’ll send the planning information your school needs. Free coach and accessible parking is right by the entrance.

  • How do we book a group or school visit?
